What a helpful and insightful book!

What a helpful and insightful book! I picked this up out of desperation and I’m so glad did. I only wish we had found it sooner.

This not just another “medical textbook” on the Alzheimer’s/dementia. This is a book that deals with the emotional and personal impact of the disease, not just to the victim of the disease, but to the family and loved ones as well. It’s filled with insightful methods for maximizing the time with your loved ones and navigating the progressive horrors of this tragic diagnosis.

Throughout the book, it’s obvious that Mr. Watts is approaching the subject from a very personal place, and his insight is forged from genuine experience, he shares it all, good and bad, honestly and openly. The result is a helpful guide through a difficult and tragic diagnosis.

Great book. I had no idea any of this was possible.

Great book. I had no idea any of this was possible. The suggestions are unique I think because Henry is inside his clients homes and gets to know how a diagnosis really does affect a family. It’s an honest take on how to care for someone who has dementia. I highly recommend.

An excellent resource for navigating the obstacles of dementia care

Tons of rock and roll and tons of great advice. Fun to read about a hard subject to really understand. It’s been a huge help understanding what my family member is going through. Henry is so right about all the traps and subculture that has arisen around dementia care. Great advice about picking out assisted living communities, too. I highly recommend.

Exceptional Read

Really good book. I can’t believe the title but now I get it. It’s a self help book disguised as something other than one for people like me! I tried to read a book about dementia written by a doctor. I couldn’t get past the title page. This book is for real people. Henry walks the walk. Tremendous suggestions that work! I want to meet this guy.

Great

Watts gets it. Hilarious at times. Serious when it needs to be. Gave to my kids to read and they actually did. They understand a lot more now. Great book
